Julie O’Connell has been a performer and choreographer for more than four decades with credits that include the original Los Angeles company of 42nd Street, films, Pennies From Heaven and Electric Boogaloo, and many television shows!
She was assistant choreographer for Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageant and performed for Princess Cruises.
She has trained well known actors and performers from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between, including Drew Barrymore, Christina Applegate, and Katie Holmes.
Julie has a tremendous ability to inspire performers and bring out their unique best. Her students have gone on to enjoy much success. Julie’s daughter Kelly Sheehan was the youngest performer in Broadways 42nd Street revival from 2001-2004 and is currently starring in the annual White Christmas national tour.
Julie also enjoys yoga and is an avid golfer.
Kelly Sheehan currently resides in the heart of midtown Manhattan and loves every minute of it. Some favorite credits include Judy Haynes on the National tour of Irving Berlins White Christmas. Lorraine, 42nd Street (Broadway revival), Dream Laurey, Oklahoma, Flossie, On The Town, Sheila, A Chorus Line, and Girl in Green, Singing In The Rain.
Some associate choreography credits include Oklahoma, Anything Goes, Bye, Bye, Birdie, and Singing In The Rain. You also might have spotted Kelly on the 2016 Tony Awards (hosted by James Corden) dancing on a dime or singing in a boat!
